Originally by: Typhoon Warfreak The more I read these post (by the same people), the more I see it as mindless mob mentality. Why? What more do you want CSM and CCP to do? The way the behaviour is on this forum, people (the minority as well), are demanding CCP bend to their will.
Look at this from a whole unsubscriber point of view. Let say that the total revenue lost from unsubs was 1mil. Their total revenue (outdated figures), from 2008 was 46mil. Let say that currently, CCP is making 40mil a year. See where their 1mil loss is coming in? Sure, it is a sting, but you are not making a big enough dent to be heard. If it was a 20mil loss, different story.
The protestors on this forum have an air of self-importance, as if EVE should bend to their will. Do this, that, this, that, then I'll resub. Really? Your $132 for the year isn't even enough to pay the wages of a staff member for a day. Why should you get special treatment?
And all these references to WW2 Germany towards CCP. Really? Is this the level of maturity we have reached? Where all we can do is insult people using terms that normally, in real life, would have us beaten on the floor.
I'm against pay to win. I support microstransaction in that they are vanity items only, and economy-involved for non-vanity (BPC, trade ins). I will not support ships appearing out of thin air. Personally, I thought EVE was a game with smart players. I guess I'm wrong to some extent.
The end message is, change is going to happen whether we like it or not, only question is, are you going to accept it and move on, or just keep denying, hands over heads, and live in the past.
Yea Ok I understand how you feel - people are raging and giving the CSM a hard time. Why? Because CCP gave us the finger with their responses and besides raging and yelling on the forums and in Jita or unsubbing, the CSM is our only real practical way to demand that CCP not ruin their game for a few more bucks. When after the 1st DAY of talking to CCP very very little is ACTUALLY accomplished when their whole goal is to talk to CCP to get answers - we have basically zero right now, other than another 'fu' about station spinning. So yea, we're frustrated. But yes, let's see what tomorrow brings and the CSM still have time to accomplish something, but stand up for us CSM, FFS!
Also, if you're currently un-subbed and not playing the game how can you claim to see the perspective of the players who have tried CQ? Unless of course I mis-read your post -which is possible- I don't think sitting on the sidelines really gives you a very good perspective of what CQ is like for a player-who-IS-using-it.
